Nodular
and Diffuse Dermatitis

This lecture describes many of the entities that display a "nodule or diffuse" dermatitis pattern. The lecture proceeds to subclassify these based upon predominant subtypes and then to discuss more fully the more common of the entities within these pattern classifications.
Bruce
Smoller, MD
Bruce Smoller is currently the Vice Chair in the department of Pathology
and a professor in both pathology and dermatology at the University
of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He came to Little Rock after spending
appoximately eight years as the Director of Dermatopathology at Stanford
University in California. He currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief
of the Journal of Cutaneous Pathology. Dr. Smoller is especially interested
in cutaneous lymphoid infiltrates and has written many papers on the
histologic features of mycosis fungoides. He is the author of several
books, including "Cutaneous Manifestations of Systemic Disease" and
"A Practical Guide to Use of Immunopathology in Diagnostic Dermatopathology".
