Mark A. Hurt, MD
Dr. Hurt received an MD degree in 1982 from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he completed a residency in pathology in 1987. After completing a dermatopathology fellowship in 1988, he obtained board certification in dermatopathology in 1990. He was Director of Cutaneous Pathology at the University of Texas in San Antonio from 1988-1991. He has practiced privately in the field of cutaneous pathology in Saint Louis County since 1991. He became an Instructor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Dermatology at Washington University in 2001. He became a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Saint Louis University in 2002. Dr. Hurt is a member of the editorial Board of the Journal of Cutaneous Pathology and is the Book Review Editor of the on-line journal Dermatopathology: Practical and Conceptual.
