Clay Cockerell, MD
Dr. Cockerell, a clinical dermatologist and dermatopathologist, is Medical Director of Cockerell and Associates Dermatopathology Laboratories, Director of Dermatopathology at UT Southwestern Medical School, Director of the HIV-Related Skin Disease Clinic at Parkland Memorial Hospital, and Director of the Clinicopathologic Correlation Clinic at the James W. Aston Center. Dr. Cockerell is active in a number of nationally recognized medical groups and is Secretary-Treasurer of the American Academy of Dermatology and Associate Councilor of the Southern Medical Association. He has served as Associate Editor of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and is on the editorial boards of a number of medical journals including the American Journal of Dermatopathology.
